Anniversary

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary! I am so proud of us!

I remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. The weather was perfect – beautiful blue skies with only a few clouds. I remember stepping into my dream dress and putting on my white slippers. I remember holding my bouquet full of white hydrangeas and white roses (that thing must have been 10 pounds haha). I remember standing with my Dad in a small room in the chapel waiting for the que that it was time. I was so nervous to stand in front of so many people but that didn’t compare to how anxious I was to be JD’s wife.

But most of all I remember the look on JD’s face when I walked down the aisle towards him (cheesy, i know, but also so true). A look of admiration and a look of complete love.

Our day was beautiful. It was absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. We got married in a gorgeous Chapel and our reception followed in a large reception room. There was a meal, coffee bar, cookies, cupcakes, and a candy bar. There were toasts, first dances and a great DJ playing lots of great music to get everyone on the dance floor.
